During the evening, Winds of the Bay of Bengal touches my feelings, Winds of the Arabian sea touches my thoughts, and winds of the Indian Ocean touches my heart while My feet were wet in the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea, I was standing in the place called Triveni Sangam in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. When I was visiting this, I realized why humans do not live with unity like the confluence of these three oceans. We can learn lot from nature what we cannot learn from humans. So Triveni Sangam teaches the importance of unity. The people came here to take a holy bath to reduce the sin of life.
Bhagavathi Amman Temple
I wake up early in the morning and waiting to see the sunrise at ashore. The sun rises at 6.01 and it's light reached the ocean while I walked towards 3000 years old temple built by Lord Parashurama and renovated by Pandya kings which called as Bhagavathi Amman Temple or Kumari Amman Temple. Kanya Devi is a goddess is connected with a fisherman who captures fish in the ocean since her nose ring light shows the way to the fisherman who returned to the shore. As per Hindu belief, Kumari Devi is a form of Parvati who wants to marry Shiva on a particular day, But lord Shiva could not able to come on a particular day and didn't keep his promise that marries her. Devi showed her anger against the demons and killed the Bana (asura) who got the boon from Brahma that his death will be occurred by a young girl that's what marriage was interrupted. Finally, Devi assumed her original form of Parvathi and reunited with Lord Shiva. After I came to know if something not happened in life there is another reason behind that. The Kanyakumari temple is situated in the southernmost tip of peninsular India and included in one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, Swami Vivekananda has visited this Kanya Devi in 1892.
Vivekananda Rock Memorial
The Rock was situated in Mid Sea at Kanyakumari where Vivekananda meditated for three days in December 1892. After Vivekananda attained enlightenment in this rock, it is called as Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The memorial was constructed in 1970 by funds of people across India with the main support of Eknath Ranade (spiritual reformer) who influenced by Swami Vivekananda. The Dhyana Mandapam, Sabha Mandapam,  Mukha Mandapam and Shripada Mandapam on these rocks are surrounded by the Laccadive Sea. Further, ShriPadaparai Mandapam has footprints of the virgin goddess (Kanya Devi) who attained penance on this rock. When I was seeing the statue of Swami Vivekananda in mandapa, I recalled the words he has spoken in the Chicago conference in 1893 that all sisters and brothers of America. Finally Vivekananda Rock Memorial teaches to think everyone is own sister and brother. The above image shows Vivekananda Rock Memorial which was built by donations from citizens of India that realized me the unity of Indians to the society.
Thiruvalluvar Statue
The 133 feet of Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanyakumari showing to the world that, words are more powerful and words can change the world. The 133 feet of the statue represents the 133 chapters of Tirukkural and 38 feet of pedestal denotes the chapters of virtue. The three fingers of the right-hand indicate Aram, Porul and Inbam. This 7000 tons statue was hit by a tsunami in 2004 which unaffected. A Tamilan stands in the sea recalled what Tiruvalluvar wrote many years ago "Neerinri Amaiyathu Ulagu". The Sculptor of the Thiruvalluvar statue is Ganapati Sthapati and it was inaugurated in 2000 and constructed with high-quality granites stone. The valluvar statue teaches to people three important things of life is (Virtue, Wealth, and Love).
Conclusion Of Kanyakumari
Finally, I have seen the sunset at 6.38 in the evening and standing again in Triveni Sangam to recall the moments what I have learned from Kanyakumari. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial teaches All are brothers and sisters, Bhagavathy Amman temple teaches if something not happened there is behind another reason, Thiruvalluvar statue teaches the importance of virtue, wealth and love then Triveni Sangam teaches people has to live with unity which all are lessons of life from Kanyakumari that I learned in One Day.
